At 13:30 am this Friday, July 26, have entered the Obradoiro square of Santiago de Compostela pilgrims Cehegín that on Monday began its journey in the land of Lugo.
"They have done a great thrill, tired from the long hours of road and affected by the terrible train accident Galicia has undoubtedly marked this trip and has impressed us all, yet satisfied to achieve the desired goal and enjoy this beautiful city, "said the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín.
Early this morning, the group has started the last leg of the trip between OR Predouzo and Santiago de Compostela, 19 miles.
During the weekend, the city can visit cehegineros calmly and tomorrow, Saturday, attending the Pilgrim's Mass at the Cathedral at 12:00 pm, where they can give the hug traditional image of St. James.
Return to Cehegín is scheduled for Sunday, after visiting the town coruñés Finisterre lighthouse stands there, the most famous of the Costa de la Muerte.
