The group of 30 pilgrims yesterday, Sunday, started from Cehegín to do the Camino de Santiago has started today, Monday, July 22, the first stage in the town of Sarria, Lugo has reached Portomarín past 12:00 pm, after to cover the 23 kilometers of the journey.
The beginning of this stage was marked by a temperature of 13 degrees and the typical fog early Lugo land.
After resting in the shelter the pilgrims can meet this afternoon over the town of Portomarín, located in the Camino de Santiago and along the river Miño.
"By the time the pilgrims are at the peak of physical condition and enjoy a unique experience that is unforgettable for all of them," said the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín, who is on the road with the group.
