Promoting competitiveness and physical exercise and develop human values ​​such as respect, effort, perseverance and humility are some of the objectives of I Campus Football 'Javier Miñano', entitled 'Technical and improvement in Football', in which involved a hundred children throughout the Northwest Region and other parts of the Region of Murcia until next Saturday, July 13.
The campus was opened this morning with the assistance of Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, the coach of the Spanish National Team, Toni Grande, the trainer of the Spanish and 'alma mater' campus, Javier Miñano, and the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín.
Miñano Javier explained that the campus combines educational and recreational objectives to teach values, in addition to acquiring motor skills for this type of conference.
Teamwork, compliance with rules, schedules and health habits are other purposes of this project.
In addition, the campus pays special attention to healthy eating, providing fruit for lunch accompanied by instilling these habits to students.
The campus has a total of eleven monitors, all qualified technical specialists INEF Madrid football.
"Together they form a powerful team and highly qualified titled" expressed Miñano.
On this first day of work have created small groups of up to twelve players, and in the case of the porters, of up to six students.
All sessions take place entirely at the Sports Complex 'Javier Miñano' facilities equipped with the necessary infrastructure and amenities, with CEIP classrooms Pérez Villanueva for the realization of theoretical lectures and audiovisual.
Throughout the week there will be two hours of intensive football, including exercise, work individual and collective technical football games where the player will practice everything learned previously.
After these two hours will be held theoretical activities, sports and games to end the morning at the municipal pool.
