The departments of Public Safety and Public Works and Services, led by Maria Dolores Carrasco and Juan Antonio Chico, respectively, have reported that due to regular inspections being done Aquagest staff, company managing the water service have been detected several meters manipulated to prevent proper operation.
The holders of these counters have been reported for fraud drinking water, may be punished with fines that can range between 1,500 and 3,000 euros.
For this reason, the councilors are calling for an end to this type of frauds that are being increasingly frequent by some citizens and avoid having to punish.
