The textbooks bank driven by the Department of Education of the City of favor Cehegín many local families at the start of the new school year next September, as it will save money on the purchase of books.

These books are loaned by families of students in schools, both Preschool and Primary and Secondary institutes.

In addition, the City Council has delivered over 20,000 euros to the centers for the promotion of these book banks, in order to help this initiative.

The IES Vega del Argos, for example, has begun in this first phase that took place in the month of June with more than 900 books that will benefit more than 150 students in the next academic year 2013/2014.
