The school concluded Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas de San Vicente de Paul has delivered this morning to the Spanish Association against Cancer of the money raised with cooperatives initiated by the students of the school within the company projects in My School ( EME) and European Young Enterprise (HUB), which aims to inculcate entrepreneurial culture among schoolchildren.
The president of the association, Rosario Fernandez has received checks from the hands of the presidents of cooperatives Pekearte and The Tweet Shop, belonging to the primary and secondary cycles respectively.
Fernandez thanked the gesture of the college and has distributed among students and faculty pink ribbons symbolizing the fight against cancer.
The ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Economic Development of the City of Cehegín Francisco in April, who was pleased with the work done by the students of the school, and explained that, as a township entrepreneur, Cehegín commitment to this type of activities that foster entrepreneurship.
During the school year, students have started their own businesses and have faced the experience of following all the steps that an entrepreneur develop in real life: to name the company, develop a constitution, creating a corporate image, choose governing council, conduct market research, develop a product catalog, build products and select their suppliers.
Finally, the products made by the students, were sold in the minimarket organized by the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia (INFO) in Murcia last May.
