The issue of dependency seen and analyzed from an anthropological perspective, medical, legal, economic and budget is the subject of ongoing 'Crisis of care: reconciling the roles', which celebrates the International University of the Sea at its headquarters in Cehegín , between 16 and 19 July, and this morning has been submitted by the local mayor, José Soria, the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Development and Training, University of Murcia, Fernando Martin, Councillor of Culture, Nicholas Toro, and the course director and professor at the University of Murcia, Gloria Alarcon.
"This course is a new commitment Cehegín City Council with the aim of turning the town into a classroom over the University of Murcia," said Alarcon, who stressed that the course "addresses a topical issue such as the dependence, since the economic times we are facing are making reflect on how to carry out the policies for its implementation ".
To be able to approach the subject from a multidisciplinary perspective, by Cehegín political will, psychologists, doctors, sociologists, economists and professors from different universities.
"They are all great experts in dependency and neurodegenerative diseases," said Gloria Alarcon, who highlighted the roundtable to be held on the afternoon of July 16.
