Dogs have been the protagonists of this nice test, and they have been the winners and those who have jumped on the podium.
In male Senior category, the winners were Maya, with the first post, Lukas, second, and Simba, in third.
In female Senior category, Noa has won the top spot on the podium, the second and Kyra Moon has been in third place.
The Councillor for Tourism of Cehegín Francisco in April, has been commissioned to deliver the prizes along the line established by the Greenway hostel located in the former railway station of the town.
April stressed that these initiatives contribute to value the Northwest Greenway suitable opportunities to enjoy leisure time and the natural environment from the point of view of tourism or sport or joining both together.
This sporting event has sought to popularize and publicize an activity of great tradition in Europe and northern Spain, as is the running or hiking accompanied by pets, but less known in this area as well as giving new uses to the Northwest Greenway tourist infrastructure ideal for hiking, cycling and active tourism in general.
Before starting the test, the dogs have had to undergo a vet, always ensuring the safety and health of the animal.
Another detail that sets the rules of this test harness is the model with which the rider is attached to the can, keeping close in mind a number of requirements that neither the animal nor the person damaged.
The organization wants to repeat the test next year, setting your celebration on this festive day of June 9 in the Region of Murcia.
