Their diet consists almost exclusively of medium-sized birds, occasionally hunt small mammals, small reptiles and even insects.

The rescue took place in the afternoon yesterday, Tuesday May 28, and the bird is from this morning at the Center for Wildlife Recovery Valley, managed by the Service for the Protection and Conservation of the Directorate General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity of the Region of Murcia.
