The caravaqueño Miguel Sánchez Robles and Angel Gonzalez Quesada salmantino have received this morning from the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Culture, Nicolas del Toro, the prizes are credited as literary contest winners Salvador García Jiménez ' of Story and 'Gil Fernando Tudela' Poetry.
The presentation of awards was made to coincide with World Book Day.
For this reason, and after being greeted by the mayor and council at City Hall, the writers have moved to Calle Ginés de Paco.
They received their awards before it started reading poems by local writers conducted by teachers and secondary students.
Sánchez Robles has won the 'Salvador García Jiménez' of Story with the work entitled 'Babel', in which the jury praised "his pulse firm on the truth and narrative ability to conduct an exercise in overcoming suffering vital ".
On the other hand, González Quesada has achieved the Award 'Gil Fernando Tudela' with the poems 'Swann's Way', in which the jury considered "treatment of the fundamental themes of literature and of life itself, on throughout the passage of time in the small daily pleasures that give us the answers to our closest uncertainties ".
In his acceptance speech, both authors have encouraged young people gathered there to take an interest in the world of literature and come to reading as a way to escape reality and enjoy while learning and enrichment.
