About 50 people from Murcia, Aguilas, Lorca, Bullas and other towns in the region have participated this morning in the free guided tour of the historic Cehegín within an initiative launched by the Institute of Tourism and Tourism Office Network in the Region of Murcia.
The tour has had as starting point the Office of Tourism, and the first monument to be known participants in the visit was the Jasper House, a building of great interest Baroque houses city hall.
Then, guided by the director of the Archaeological Museum, Francisco Aroca, visitors have discovered Mesoncico Square, Main Street, where stands the home of the Dukes of Ahumada, and the Castle Square, which houses the Archaeological Museum The palace of Fajardo, the arcades and the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene.
The aim of this new initiative is to highlight and publicize the most emblematic places of the municipalities and enjoy a unique and engaging experience.
