The PSOE Cehegín says the draft bill to reform the Law on Basis of Local, shakes the foundations of the municipal and destroys social cohesion.
This morning, Jose Rafael Rocamora, Municipal Socialist Group spokesperson, has filed a motion for debate at the next regular full asking the central government, the withdrawal of the "Draft Law for the rationalization and sustainability of local government" .
As the mayor said, the proposal of the Government of the People's Party, to intervene and drain powers the vast majority of local authorities, and endangers our democracy becomes more fragile.
For socialists of Cehegín, public services should not be assessed solely by economic criteria but, primarily, by the social benefit their users behave.
Socialists warn that this proposal provides offshore and out of Cehegín neighbors, the powers of the City Council.
Thus, competence be "improper" for the draft, far from ensuring the provision of services shall be removed when not being borrowed by another Administration.
Rocamora moreover ensures that services that happen to be privatized autonomous region with a consequent increase in rates and prices, you always pay the citizens.
The most alarming consequence of the application of this Act to the PSOE Cehegín is that, through the dismantling of the public sector, will endanger more than 250,000 public jobs.
All these arguments have led the PSOE Cehegín to file a motion asking reach the following agreements:
Request removal by the Central Government of the People's Party, the Bill for the rationalization and sustainability of local government.
Open a negotiation process with all parliamentary groups and the FEMP, that addresses the reform of the laws governing the local world, ensuring local autonomy and social rights of citizens.
