The Councillor for Economic and Business, Francisco in April, this morning attended the ICT Reference Center Northwest to the presentation of the campaign 'Identifícame', launched by the weather service to help and care, specializing in home care for seniors.
April has accompanied the manager of that company, Maria Victoria Perez, who explained that this initiative is to provide a sheet with QR codes, for quick and easy identification of the person who wears it.
"This service, which will market in the coming days, is aimed at the elderly, as a group susceptible sometime disorientation situations or need help, either because of age or because of diseases like Alzheimer's," said Perez, adding that since this company will be distributed throughout the Region of Murcia.
The QR code (Quick Response) is a system for storing information, a link between the physical and digital.
"The best thing about these codes is that they require no special reader, any mobile phone operating system can read. First you scan the code, then the code will load the web and information", clarified the company manager.
The price of the metal and its maintenance is 20 euros.
For his part, Francisco April said that "the new service launched this company housed in the nursery Reference Center ICT fully shares our philosophy because once again put technology at the service of citizens" .
The councilman added that "we are happy to see a company is the pioneer ceheginera launch this service in the region which undoubtedly contributes to a collective security as primarily the elderly and Alzheimer's patients."
