Colourful, crowded and fun.
Once again, the Children's Carnival Parade Cehegín met in the streets thousands of people who have enjoyed a great show in which five schools and Primary in the town (Pérez Villanueva, Our Lady of Wonderland St. Vincent de Paul, Virgen de las Maravillas, Count of Campillos and Begastri City) and the different nurseries, wasted joy and wit.
Schools have shown to visitors cehegineros and the work done in recent weeks by students, teachers and parents to have ready the costumes and choreography rehearsed ahead of the awaited day.
The parade began at 1630 hours from the street Alfonso X 'The Wise', next to Parque Juan Carlos I, and, after crossing the streets Gran Vía, Carmen Conde, Begastri, square gate and road to Murcia, has completed in the Camelot Room.
Ladies and medieval warriors, potted plants and flowers, oranges and lemons, rock, forest elves, Roman soldiers or rag dolls have been some of the costumes chosen for this year.
After the parade was held a children's party in the Chamber of Carnaval with the musical Camelot 'Drs wacky and Friends: Journey to the Earth', which also has been dealt a snack for all participants in the parade .
Cehegín Carnival continues this Tuesday, February 12, with the traditional 'Figurehead Night'.
From 2300 hours, in the Camelot Room, will be held Mascarones Contest 2012, which will deliver its Mascarones Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Earlier, at 16.00, the courtyard of the Youth Space will host children's activities with preparation and tasting of the typical cakes Carnival.
In addition, the program broadcast live special 'Mardi Gras' of local radio station More FM Begastri, interviews, music and humor and surprises.
