Councillor for Public Safety of the City of Cehegín, Maria Dolores Carrasco, has reported that this week has been the Police Coordination Board on Gender Violence in the Public Safety Center.
The board, whose main objective is to monitor possible cases exist in the town and work on prevention, is chaired by that councilor of Public Safety and the same part of the Councillor for Social and Family Services, José María Maya, the councilor of Associations, NGOs, Women and Equality, María del Mar de Béjar, the post commander of the Civil Guard, the local police chief, a representative of the Centre for Victims of Domestic Violence, a social worker and secretary general of the Council.
In the constitution of the Bureau conducted an analysis of the situation of violence against women in the town, exposed the modi operandi of each of the agencies represented and collaboration procedures necessary to improve service to victims of abuse.
Finally we found the scheme meetings of the Bureau, consisting of a regular meeting every four months.
