Cehegín hosts between 7 and 10 February Palomos XXVI Exhibition Contest indigenous breeds of the Region of Murcia, organized by the Society Cehegín race pigeons with the collaboration of the City through its Department of Sports.
A ship located near the City Transport in the industrial area of ​​the dunghill be the venue of this event, where you can see examples of great value Murciana race, such as Laudino Murciano, Quebrao Murciano, Morrillero and Porcelano.
This year, as a novelty, we introduce a new variety that is the Quico Lorca, with about 200 copies of all this breeds.
This contest is a prelude to the Championship of Spain, which this year takes place between February 25 and March 10 in the town of Murcia Mula.
The schedule of the competition are:
Receiving copies: on 7 and 8 February from 10.00 to 19.00.
Procedure: 8th from 19.00.
Doors: 9 and 10 from 10.00.
Awards ceremony: Day 10 (Sunday) at 12.00.
