The designer Cristobal Dominguez Aguiló, Sewer, has been declared the winner of the poster competition carnival organized by the council of Celebration Cehegín City Council to promote 'The Northwest Carnival 2013', with his creation 'Cehegín carnival dresses'.
As stated by the author of the winning "the carnival is movement, sensuality and color, and that's what I wanted to express through the figure of a woman who has been attracted to the colorful architectural Cehegín Township, and has decided a suit made from remnants of the town and made a mask with Begastri Cross ".
Also explained Aguiló, "red tie that leaves the head represents the passion and strength of heart cehegineros living outside their towns and always want to return. Therefore figure out Old Town Hair representing that Cehegín always in thought "
Aguiló Christopher has over 20 years working in the field of communication, performing creative work, graphic designer, art director and illustrator.
On the other hand the work presented by the young ceheginero Cristobal Rodriguez Martinez, 16, has been chosen as a winner in the category Youth ESO and Bachillerato with the show 'Essence of Carnival' and will be published as a cover of the program of activities of the carnival.
Councilman Youth and Celebrations, Ruben Sanchez, highlighted "the quality of the papers presented to twenty contest which meant an added difficulty for the jury when choosing the winners."
According to the mayor "the jury finally decided to use these works in which raw originality and break with the tradition of other years."
The competition has been opened this year nationwide, which has meant that posters were submitted from different parts of Spain and the Basque Country and Castilla-La Mancha.
