Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and Councilman Employment and Economic Development, Francisco in April, have made delivery of diplomas to students who have participated in the course of 'pruning and fruit cultivation work', which has had a 100 hours, with a theoretical and practical part.
According April "with activities such as this offer the opportunity to learn a new trade to these students that they can find a job easier".
Students have learned modern pruning techniques, fruiting times of each type of tree, pruning for young trees and to fix others who have had bad handling or has been nonexistent.
April has encouraged them to continue their education in the field of agriculture, and to announce that the City Council will be offered new courses focused on this sector.
Meanwhile the mayor, José Soria, has been hopeful that "soon to be launched one of the projects in which the council is working with a major national company to install an intermediate processing chip for biomass from pruning in the mountains of Cehegín, would generate many jobs. "
