The concert on Saturday offered Cehegín Musical Society with the young trumpeter Reuben Simeó was definitely one of the most crowded and most important he has lived the Culture House in recent years.
Simeó, under the baton of Rafael González García and accompanying musicians cehegineros, achieved full capacity of the House of Culture where over 200 people were in the aisles to hear this performance.
Naturalness, virtuosity, flexibility and musicality were some of the qualities conveyed Simeó, leaving stunned the public who showed their appreciation with a standing ovation.
Works such as The Carnival of Venice, My Way, Fantasy for Trumpet, Flight of the Bumblebee, La Macarena, Roller Coaster or One Hundred Years of sighs, were responsible for thrilling and arousing all attendees.
Before the end of the concert, Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Culture, Nicolás del Toro, made a delivery to Simeó playback Cehegín Cross and a book of the history of the municipality.
Soria emphasized "human and musical quality of this young trumpet master" and said that "in the history of the House of Culture and the Musical Society Cehegín always remember this day."
