Mayor Jose Soria, accompanied by his government team, roasted chestnuts on Christmas Eve, which were distributed to all citizens who came to the post, installed in the Plaza del Alpargatero.

There, who received a bag of chestnuts in exchange gave nonperishable food, which later were taken to Caritas, to be distributed to needy families.
