The town has a new traditional music group, the 'Animeros Cehegín', a band that aims to recall the activities carried out in the municipality, since time immemorial, the Brotherhood of the blessed souls in Purgatory, especially beneficial type.
In fact, this Christmas will be presented to the public with the first of their events, and they intend to walk the streets of Cehegín, asking 'begging' for a non-profit institution in the town.
The 'Animeros Cehegín', who are already enrolled in the Register of Associations of the Region of Murcia, contribute to the preservation and dissemination of traditional music heritage Cehegín, as they have done for many years 'Animeros del Campillo' the other party with which the municipality.
