The Local Security Board held another meeting in the city of Cehegín, which has analyzed the situation of the municipality in terms of security, trying to fund such crucial issues such as theft and robbery, and drugs, among others.
Representatives of the Delegation of the Government and the Autonomous Region have attended this meeting, which was attended by the Mayor Jose Soria, the Councillor for Public Safety, Maria Dolores Carrasco, Sergeant-chief of the local police, Gabino Garcia and the Civil Guard sergeant, Miguel Angel Fernandez.
Thus, it has realized the interventions carried out in the latter half, and have established guidelines for action and coordination of security forces in the town.
Also approved a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Interior and the Municipality of Cehegín, citizen security and protocol implementation.
"Through this agreement is to improve the exchange of information between the Guardia Civil and Local Police, implementing and coordination between the two bodies and, ultimately, providing better service to citizens," said Carrasco.
