Mayor Jose Soria has visited one of the most special cehegineros given locality, Espin Antonio Fernandez, known to all as "Uncle Villares', is now serving 103 years.
Soria, who has been a gift to the honoree, said that "it is an honor to congratulate and embrace Antonio, the oldest person in Cehegín, who even with his age is well physically, and plenty of living".
The 'Uncle Villares' worked in the former hemp industry, has been a farmer, and worked in construction Taibilla channel, through which water comes to Cehegín.
Antonio drink a glass of milk in the mornings; accompanies every meal with a glass of wine, no sugar, no cholesterol, or any other disease, daily walks, and is totally independent.
It enjoys a large family that admires him, care and love, because, apart from their children, has more than twenty grandchildren, great-grandchildren almost forty and a great grandson.
