Cehegín City Council has canceled the contract award of the bullring in the town to the bullfighting entrepreneur Antonio Guerrero, commercial manager of the Guadalupe Murcia SL Entertainment, for breach of it.

The signing of this resolution by the municipality is motivated by the actions of Guerrero, who, despite having signed the contract in early July, had not provided the guarantees and warranties that were fixed on it in the deadline.

Mayor Jose Soria has clarified that "If another company can legally give the run on September 9, Cehegín bulls will not run out."
