The full City Council has approved the start of the file to 'Foster Child' City Cehegín Jose Martinez Martinez, Andres Ruiz Garrido (posthumously), Isabel Fernandez and Jose Maria Lopez Pastor Alcazar.
Jose Martinez, better known as the priest Don Jose, was born in Ribera de Molina, in 1929, was pastor of the Greater Church of St. Mary Magdalene, and is responsible for the pastoral efforts of Canara and part of the garden ceheginera.

Don Andres was born in 1918 in Vilches (Jaén), and was Cehegín municipal veterinarian from 1956 to 1985, when he retires.

He was also member of the Knights of Our Lady of Wonders and the local board of the Fight Against Cancer.
