The Minister for Universities and Research Company, José Ballesta, signed today a cooperation agreement with the mayor of Cehegin, Jose Soria, to convert the term ceheginero in 'Entrepreneur Municipality' and continue with the promotion of entrepreneurship in the Region
This is a pioneering initiative in the Community, the counselor explained, "recognizes municipalities that make active policies to promote entrepreneurship and consolidation of business activities in their municipalities."
Thus, by signing this agreement the Consistory implemented in collaboration with the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia, a package of measures to promote entrepreneurship, identifying niches for self-employment and promoting infrastructure to accommodate business .
"Of all these measures is a priority the promotion of self-employment through the streamlining of procedures and elimination of bureaucratic obstacles," said Jose Ballesta.
The responsible regional stated that "the effort in creating incentives for entrepreneurs is a key tool for the emergence of successful experiences in the municipality which will, no doubt, an example for other municipalities in the region."
The project "Municipal Entrepreneur ', which took its first step in April with the signing of the agreement with the city of Alhama, is open to all municipalities in the Region of Murcia.
"This initiative will allow the Administration to have the active and dynamic role that currently the business demand," added the director.
The rating of 'Township Entrepreneur' will be awarded by the Ministry of Universities and Research Company to those municipalities in the Region of Murcia to commit themselves to implement a custom package to support business in your area.
