A total of 160 students from schools Count Campillos Begastri City, Virgin Wonderland, Pérez Villanueva and Our Lady of the Wonders of San Vicente de Paul have been involved in an activity of the departments of Environment and Forests, consisting of planting of 500 white pines in the Rambla de Gilico and Cambrones.
The mayor and council members Jose Soria Maria Dolores Carrasco and Joaquín Marín not want to miss this event, held on the occasion of World Environment Day.
According to Carrasco, "is very important that children are in contact with nature, and thus encourage them to respect it."
Sown plants have been donated by the general direction of the Environment, the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
