The school cehegineros get twelve podiums in the regional final duathlon (27/04/2012)

The Sports Complex Almarjal Javier Miёano Spin 'has hosted the regional final duathlon schoolchildren, organized by the Directorate General of Physical Education and Sport of the CARM, in collaboration with the town of Cehegin.

This event, held in Cehegэn second consecutive year, has brought to 394 schools across the Region of Murcia, in categories baby, juvenile, infantile, cadet and youth, of which over 150 participants were from the local host.

"Therefore, Cehegэn remains the municipality with the highest number of participants throughout the region, showing once again the firm commitment to grassroots sport, both by the municipality and the various schools of our town," according to Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marin.

Athletes winners have collected their trophies from the hands of the head of the Community Sports, Eduardo Segarra, the president of the Triathlon, Diego Calvo, and the mayor Antonio Marin.
