The Angel ceheginero April is participating in testing the world's toughest ultradistance, the Marathon des Sables, dubbed "The Marathon of the Sands', in the Sahara desert.
This competition has six stages of 33, 38, 38, 82, 42.2 and 17.5 miles, making it a test for 'superathletes'.
In fact, in 2007, two runners died during it.
Therefore, the organization requires them to carry whistles, vengalas, venom extractor pumps, thermal blankets, mirrors, anti insect, etc., if they suffer some kind of mishap.
The importance of this test is seen in the human and technical resources around it, formed by six planes, one hundred-road vehicles, two helicopters, 23 buses, four quads, lots of journalists, 52 doctors and thousands of medicines.
This year there are a total of 37 who traveled the Spanish Sahara, bringing Angel back in April the number 877, which will hang the reflections of this ordeal on the blog http://www.maratondelasarenas2012.blogspot.com
