Councilwoman Safety, Maria Dolores Carrasco, has reported that "the local police has made two arrests Cehegín within 48 hours, for burglary in the town."
The first came in early Monday after receiving a tip from a neighbor who watched a young man with black hat had forced the shade of a cafe located in the Plaza del Alpargatero.
The latter, who had taken flight upon noticing the police presence, was intercepted by another patrol, being a resident of Cieza, 25 years old, who was arrested for alleged burglary in things, is attempted.
The second arrest took place on Tuesday night, when the owners of a plumbing store, located on the Carretera del Campillo, surprised two people inside who had broken a rear door through which to escape.
But the local police, after tracing the area, he found one of them, who failed to stop.
This is a neighbor of Cehegin, who has been arrested for allegedly stealing a quantity of money in excess of 400 euros.
