The councilman of Tourism Francisco in April, has introduced the new tourist service 'Taxitour', which will become operational starting this weekend at the resort, where it is anticipated the arrival of thousands of visitors, attracted by the nature paths, the big parade of Carnival, the celebration of Craft Market 'The Mesoncico' and the beginning of the Fourth Road cover.
April explained that "with this new service, we offer visitors a route taxi to the main tourist sights Cehegín."
Furthermore, she added, "This, in addition to benefiting local taxi drivers, benefits the municipality", which offers something new.
To realize this project, taxi drivers have received little training on the tourist sights to visit, on these routes to last about 45 minutes, and will be priced at 15 euros by taxi.
During the routes will be three stops in places such as the Paseo de la Concepción, the Castle Square and the Hermitage of San Sebastián.
Visitors will learn and the most relevant historical data from different places and the stories that occurred over the years, told by taxi drivers, who have shown "delighted" with the implementation of this project.
The taxis will be out in the Plaza del Alpargatero, so that stakeholders can take the spot.
