The director general of SEF, Gines Martinez, the manager of the Tourist Consortium of the Greenway, Juan Soria, the mayors of Cehegin and Bullas, José Pedro Soria and Chico, respectively, Councilman Employment Caravaca de la Cruz, Salvador Gomez and the Director of Employment Workshop, Josefina Martinez, visited the Workshop on Employment of the Greenway.
A total of 32 student-workers shape this project, which has a budget of 700,000 euros, and that "in addition to energizing the Greenway, improving the training of these people and facilitates their insertion into the labor market", according to the director general of the SEF.
This has also ensured that "we will continue working to bring projects of this nature to the Northwest."
For twelve months, this workshop students belonging to the towns of Cehegin, Caravaca de la Cruz, Bullas, will form the branches of 'masonry', 'gardening and landscape restoration' and 'tourism promotion and visitor information' theory that are already being implemented with different jobs that are being coordinated by their monitors.
In this way, have already begun to restore two old houses, located in the Greenway, at the height of the tunnel, in addition to having developed a striking logo marble road, surrounded by vegetation, which will be seen by all users thereof.
These student-workers, who are receiving a monthly salary, help with their work to condition and improve the stretch of greenway that passes by Bullas, Cehegin and Caravaca, considered as the mayor caravaqueño, "the main pilgrimage route to the City Santa ".
The delegation also visited the Office of Tourism Cehegín and the former railway station, where they are giving the lectures to students who have secured very satisfied "with everything we're learning," and where they have been encouraged self-employment, after completion of the course in December.
But still have a long learning period, which will specialize in computer literacy, risk prevention, environmental awareness, social economy, gender equality, resources and improving job search and business management, among other subjects.
