Mayor Jose Soria and President of the Regulatory Council of the DO Bullas, Francisco Carreño, presented the samples of wines and wineries of the Denomination of Origin Bullas, to be held in Cehegin, next Monday, November 28, at the Archaeological Museum Municipal.
The arcades of the Plaza del Castillo will host the reception of the participants in this sample, at 19.30, to take it for opened.
After this first contact will be moved to the Archaeological Museum, where there will be tastings of wines from the DO Bullas, guided by their authors.
Carreño explained that "we do this show here because this year it was up to Cehegín, as part of the core strength of this DO", while adding that "every time we do best wines, which we are promoting the wine tourism."
And the proof is in the wines may be tasted on Monday, wineries from Contreras, Del Rosario, San Isidro and Carrascalejo, World Wine, Terce of Ulea, Balcony, Mill and Lagares, Monastrell, and Begastri Carreño.
The Control Board has chosen the Museum of Archaeology, because it seeks to link the cultural and wine supply in the area, "as does wine tourists spent more than half of tourism in general," the president of the DO.
Cehegín Mayor, meanwhile, has expressed his satisfaction with the holding of this exhibition in the town, "which has been many years away from the DO Bullas, which is a grave error. Cehegín can not be excluded from this explosion of wine tourism. "
He has also announced that "we have launched the project of the Wine School, which has been awarded to begin construction, and so you can open its doors in 2012."
This sample wines and wineries of the DO Bullas is carried out with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia, Cehegin Town Council and the Association of Innkeepers and merchants of this city.
