The full City Council approved the Budget for 2011, amounting to 14,100,000 euros, which collect items in the chapter on investments, such as the Works and Services Plan or the construction of the Wine School, among others.
This chapter of investment has been reduced by 50 percent over last year.
Adjustments have also been items such as festivals, culture and maintenance of various kinds.
According to the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, "despite the economic difficulties that are going through, has approved a balanced budget that meets the budgetary stability law."
Soria has also added "This budget meets the municipality's current expectations and, above all, allows us to maintain that balance of payments with suppliers and creditors of our City."
