Cehegín City Council has held a minute's silence in memory of those killed in the earthquake in Lorca, and to show support for all affected.

Furthermore, in the municipality today ceheginero wave flags at half mast, wearing black crepe in mourning.

The mayors of Mataró, Premia de Dalt Premia de Mar, Joan Antoni Baron Joan Miquel Baliarda and Buch, respectively, have called the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, to express concern and offer help of any kind to the city of Lorca .
