The town of Murcia Cehegín Fitur 2011 led to the third edition of its Top Road, to be held between 30 January and 27 February.
This initiative will allow visitors to experience the town and its attractions while enjoying their cuisine and, more specifically, its tapas.
As explained by the local mayor, Jose Soria, it is expected that more than thirty bars and restaurants to participate, which will add a dozen cafes and pubs which also made the cocktail route.
Soria recalled that the 2010 edition, the innkeepers cehegineros sold more than 180,000 participants and 17,000 tapas cocktails.
The Third Road Cehegín cap match, as happened last year, with themed crafts markets 'We're killing' and 'Carnival, Mardi Gras', to be held the last Sunday in January and February, respectively.
Also, new in this year, Soria said the establishment of a panel charged with selecting the covers will be offered during the route.
That jury will be composed of representatives of the hoteliers and teachers of the School of Hotel de Murcia and Tourism Qualification Center and the Department of Tourism Cehegín.
The objective of this measure is to offer a selection of snacks to help make Cehegín in culinary attraction of the Region of Murcia during the month of February.
La Ruta de la Tapa town attracts thousands of people every year, both for the variety of delicacies such as the environment in which it takes place: the old Cehegín.
In early 2009, the Association of Hoteliers and Tourism Department launched the site this initiative.
