The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, with the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, and Council of Tourism and Forestry, April and Joaquín Francisco Marín, respectively, have launched the new Natural Tourist Path 'Wonderland', located in El Campillo of Jiménez.
The Chapel of the hamlet ceheginera was also visited by many walkers and cyclists who participated in the opening with a march on foot, the first, and on wheels, the latter, which received their own refreshments.
The path, made possible by a grant from the Directorate General of Tourism, an investment of more than 21,000 euros, which places value this beautiful area of the municipality, which also connects with the route number 35 of the Ecotourism Trail Network, which links Cehegín to Calasparra.
The tour has a distance of 21.2 miles in a circular direction, and its origin and end is the Ermita de El Campillo de los Jiménez.
Throughout it has placed more than 50 directional and interpretive signs, the firm has been converted and installed fencing and wooden benches in some areas.
Natural and tourist value is very important, since among the places where the trail runs are the Arroyo del Risco, the mountains of the head of Juan Gonzalez and Los Cambrones, and the Ecological Park.
