The NGO Caritas and Cehegín Trade Association have launched the initiative 'empty baskets', that is to place these containers in four local establishments such as supermarkets La Morena (Barrio de San Juan) and the Mesoncico ( Mesoncico Square), and supermarkets Navarrete (Gran Via) and Madruga (Gran Via), so that citizens deposit staples for the poor.

These baskets will be on display until next Saturday, December 18.
