Cehegín City Council, through the Department of Social Services, directed by Maria Isabel Martínez, has awarded grants to associations and ADINOR AFEMNOR and Day Center San Francisco, so they can continue to carry out their activities and workshops.

Martinez has said that "the City continues to work with cehegineras associations, and the proof is the delivery of these 11,400 euros, for these three groups."

AFEMNOR is the association of families and people with mental illness, with multiple users on Cehegín while ADINOR is newly established and provides workshops to enhance the autonomy and self-esteem of disadvantaged groups.

For its part, the San Francisco Day Care Center accommodates 60 children daily.
