The Department of Forestry, headed by Joaquín Marín, is carrying out the installation of traps against 'procesionaria' (Thaumetopoea pytiocampa), released by the Directorate General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity.

They are being placed in schools, parks and gardens of the resort, in order to prevent the spread of the Lepidoptera, which mainly affects pine species.
