Cehegín City Council has launched a new employment project, with which he has drawn from lists of 'stop' to a total of 29 people, as reported by Mayor Jose Soria.
On the one hand, the municipality has hired 14 bricklayers, painters and electricians for nine months, which will be dedicated to conditioning and renovate various spaces of the Old Town, in order to improve the most important tourist attraction Cehegín.

The mayor said that "we also intend during this time to perform the installation of lighting Torre del Pozo, located in El Puntarrón, the oldest part of town."
The European Social Fund (80 percent) and the Autonomous Community of Murcia (20 percent) have made the € 250,000 needed to carry out this contract, giving the city of about 72,000 euros Cehegín materials.

This recruitment has been carried out thanks to a grant from the SEF of more than 60 thousand euros.
