The municipality of Cehegín trainer has paid tribute to the Spanish football team, the ceheginero Javier Miñano, in a public ceremony held at the Welcome Plaza Alfaro.
The local mayor, Jose Soria, presented him with a gold shield of the city as well as a reproduction of the Cross of Begastri.
Before the ceremony, in which the coach was joined by many relatives and friends, the mayor received Miñano at city hall from where they moved to the Plaza Alfaro where they expected many who took advantage cehegineros to take a photo with the champion.
After the ceremony took place the action of the Children's Orchestra of the Music School Cehegín scheduled in the summer activities organized by the municipality.
Javier Miñano has been part of the technical team, led by Vicente del Bosque has led to the Spanish football team to win the title of world champions, the most important achievement of Spanish football in its history.
On Saturday 28 August, the technician reads the proclamation of the festivity of Cehegín since a few months ago was appointed to it.
