The Department of Tourism Cehegín City Council will launch a "macro course" has been described as the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April, to form a 15 unemployed people in various aspects of customer service in tourist establishments such as hotels, lodging, restaurants, etc.
and in the manner of providing the services offered therein.
April has been reported that the council has got a grant from the Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community of 60,000 euros that will be used to teach this course of 540 hours, to be held for seven months between October 2010 and May 2011 , entitled "Providing customer service and tourist establishments."
According to the mayor "the course will be devoted high-level and 280 hours for internship in different institutions so that more than half the teaching hours are devoted to it." Participants in this training activity will learn to make the customer welcome in a hotel or restaurant and provide all the services involving these positions, booking, billing, events and protocol, etc.. Also learn how to serve customers and develop various services, bars and restaurants, both in bar and in table using if necessary, the English language.
The program also includes visits to various establishments like hotels, camping, restaurants, etc.
Applicants for this course students will have to have a degree from ESO or equivalent and be registered with the SEF as job seekers.
