Cehegín and cities have been twinned with Calasparra Premia de Dalt, in the Catalan city, taking advantage of the opening of Space Factory and new municipal offices.

The mayors of Cehegín, Calasparra and Premia de Dalt, Jose Soria, Jesús Navarro and Joan Baliarda, respectively, could seal this twinning, as desired by everyone, but especially for the many calasparreńos cehegineros and living in the locality.

This act, very solemn from start to finish, was attended by over 300 premianences, and traditional music groups, ending with the singing of the anthem of Catalonia.
