Fifteen people have participated in the training and employment project of Cáritas Parroquial Virgen de las Maravillas de Cehegín, expanding their knowledge in agriculture and having the possibility of doing non-work placements in companies in the sector.
Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena makes a very positive assessment of the development of the general and specific training of the project, as well as of the internship period in companies.
Social workers, social educators and work counselors have been linked to this project from the reception of students until the end of their training period, making an integral accompaniment of the participants responding to the needs and opportunities that have arisen.
The business fabric of Cehegín has been actively involved in completing the training of the students in direct contact with the technicians of Caritas who have carried out intermediation and monitoring tasks.
Begastriflor, Canaraflor, Óscar Sánchez González and Viveros La Aparecida have welcomed the non-work practices in this edition of the project, transferring their satisfaction with the attitude and performance of the students;
Meanwhile, other entities have shown their interest in collaborating with Cáritas and their students in future editions.
The training and employment project of Cáritas Cehegín is co-financed by Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena, the Murciano Institute of Social Action, the Ministry of Family and Equality of Opportunities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the European Social Fund.
