Organized by the City Council of Cehegín, through the Local Development Council, led by Francisco Chico, as well as by the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in this town, on Thursday February 22 and Friday 23, the "Seminars" were held of Entrepreneurship in Tourism in the Northwest Murciano ", with the support of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia and the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Moratalla and Bullas.
The first session of the same was inaugurated by the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora;
and also Kristian Kamplade, director of the Promotion Office of the Tourism Institute, as well as the Director of the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Cehegín, Salvador Ruiz de Maya.
The theme of "Fundamental aspects to undertake in the tourism sector" was addressed by Quique Selma Beltrán. The content of the seminar focused on the fundamental aspects for the development of entrepreneurship in tourism, such as the environment digital and technological trends.
And the second seminar, "Support for entrepreneurship from the INFO", dealt with the different tools that INFO puts at the disposal of companies and entrepreneurs for the promotion of the sector.
This second seminar was developed by Juan Antonio Gutiérrez Gambín, of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia.
This first day had representatives of the tourism sector or who work and are business owners of the sector.
The second day, aimed at staff and officials of public administrations related to tourism, entrepreneurship and local development, was attended by the mayors of the region, including José Moreno, Mayor of Caravaca;
and Pepe Vélez, from Calasparra.
This seminar was also conducted by Quique Selma who spoke on "Public administrations as an engine of entrepreneurship in tourism" to raise the role of local administrations in tourism development and entrepreneurship.
The Mayor made an assessment of these days and commented that "the realization of these seminars are the result of our firm commitment to bet on tourism, as the engine of our regional economy, and training as a vehicle by which entrepreneurs and companies can develop the right strategies to achieve success "
