Organized by the City Council of Cehegín, through the Department of Local Development, led by Francisco Chico, as well as by the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in this town, on Thursday February 22 and Friday 23 will be held the "Seminars of Entrepreneurship in Tourism in the Northwest Murciano ", with the support of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia and the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Moratalla and Bullas.
The seminars will be held at the Center for Economic Promotion of Cehegín (Jardín de El Coso).
The first day will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the second day, Friday, the time is set from 10:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This first edition will be inaugurated on Thursday the 22nd by the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora;
the General Director of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Manuel Fernández-Delgado Tomás, and the Director of the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Cehegín, Salvador Ruiz de Maya.
The day of the 22nd is aimed at professionals of the tourism sector as well as people interested in undertaking in this sector and will have two seminars.
The first of them, "Fundamental aspects to undertake in the tourism sector", will be borne by Quique Selma Beltrán, professor and consultant with extensive experience in business development and branding through marketing, technology and training.
The content of the seminar focuses on the fundamental aspects for the development of entrepreneurship in tourism, such as the digital environment and technological trends, the conversion of tourism resources into tourism products, the creation of the value proposition and business models, projects and collaborative environments, the generation of brand, the possibilities of online and offline integration, and finally, the monetization and sale of tourism products and services.
And the second seminar, "Support for entrepreneurship from the INFO", will deal with the different tools that INFO puts at the disposal of companies and entrepreneurs for the promotion of the sector.
This second seminar will be developed by Álvaro Armada Cañas, Head of the Business Growth Department of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia.
The second day, already on Friday the 23rd, is aimed at staff and heads of public administrations related to tourism, entrepreneurship and local development.
This seminar will also be in charge of Quique Selma who will talk about "Public administrations as an engine of entrepreneurship in tourism" to raise the role of local administrations in tourism development and entrepreneurship.
The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, explained that "this Cycle is the result of close collaboration between the City Council and the University of Murcia, through its Permanent Headquarters launched last year in our municipality and how good results is giving".
"Secondly, the Mayor has continued to emphasize our commitment, through this first cycle of entrepreneurship in tourism, for this sector, for its possibilities for the future and for the importance of providing tools to entrepreneurs, all aimed at achieving northwest Murcia, our municipalities, value all their tourism potential and the people who manage them have sufficient training. "
