Both the Local Table Against Gender Violence, as well as the Police Coordination, have held their first meeting of the year and have done a joint meeting of these two estates that have, as a main objective, analyze and develop measures to eradicate in the municipality gender violence.
In it, as explained, have been detected, at the beginning of this year, six new cases of gender violence in Cehegín.
We remind you that these tables are composed of the Councilors for Women and Equality and Education, Antonia Fernández and Maravillas Fernández, respectively, the Councilor for Public Safety, Joaquín López, the sergeants of the Civil Guard and Local Police, the Social Worker, the Technician of Women, as well as representatives of the CAVI of Caravaca and representative of the Government Delegation.
The City Council wanted to emphasize that work will continue, with the collaboration and coordination of all services, to eradicate this social scourge.
