Very positive balance in Cehegín of the operation of the "Green Line" service (23/01/2018)

The "Green Line" service was implemented in Cehegín in 2016, through the Department of Works and Services and Information Technologies, which is directed by Ismael Abellán, a direct communication channel with the City Council to report on the damages located in the municipality and thus be able to solve them in the most agile and rapid way possible.

According to the mayor, "the residents of Cehegín have shown a very good reception of the service and proof of that is the continuous use they make of it." I therefore appreciate the important citizen participation that demonstrates the involvement and interest of the neighbors for our town ".

In Cehegín, the type of incidents that have been reported the most are those that refer to "Collection of Furniture and Fixtures", followed by "Lighting", "Sidewalks and Walkways" and "Parks and Gardens".

To date, 1,823 incidents have been reported, of which 92% have already been resolved.

From the City Council it has been recalled that, in order to use this service, it is necessary to download the Green Line APP.

To do this, the user accesses Google Play or APP Store based on the technology used in their Smartphone (Android / iOS).

Once located, the download is carried out free of charge.

From that moment, the user selects the municipality on which he wants to communicate the incident.

The procedure is very fast and simple.

To communicate an incident, simply click on the "Notify your incident" button.

A dropdown with the different types of incidents appears on the screen.

The user selects the one he wants to communicate about.

Automatically, the APP detects the exact coordinates in which the fault is located.

The next step is to attach a photo of the incident and observation about it.

It only remains to give the send button.

Once sent, City staff receives notification of the reported damage.

From this moment, the procedures are initiated to solve the detected incidence.

The citizen, in turn, receives notification on his mobile phone whenever there is a change in the status of the same.

Through the Green Line, the user can also raise any environmental questions.

Simply select the option "Ask your question".

In a maximum period of 24 hours you will have a response from a team of experts in the field completely free of charge.

The Green Line service can also be accessed through the www.lineaverdecehegin.es domain.

In addition to communicating an incident or raising a query, the user has a broad content of environmental consultation (good practice guide, advice, information of the municipality etc ...).
