The Councilor for Social Services of the Municipality of Cehegín, Antonia Fernández, has received the contribution in the form of food that was collected in the football match solidarity, which took place on December 30.
In the act has also been present, by the City Council, and collaborator from his Council in this charity event, the mayor of Sports, Joaquin Lopez.
Some 3,600 kilos of food were collected, which will go to the most needy families in the municipality of Cehegín.
The food, according to the Councilor for Social Services, will go to the three cehegineras NGOs that work for the most disadvantaged people in the town.
We remember that this match served so that familiar faces from the world of sport, bullfighting, culture and communication, have joined together for a good cause, such as getting food for the most needy families in the municipality.
This event was organized by different people individually and had as main sponsor TV Cehegín.
The Councilor wanted to highlight "the selfless work of all those who have been part of this initiative, which comes to contribute a grain of sand so that the people in need of Cehegín can have some staple foods on those dates so indicated."
